Running steady the past 40,000 miles.

AC Delco Spark Plugs - ACDELCO Part # 41-993

AC Delco Spark Plug Wire Set - ACDELCO Part # 746T

AC Delco Distributor Cap - ACDELCO Part # D328A

AC Delco Distributor Rotor - ACDELCO Part # D465

I don't work for this company, but I like their website service and prices.
www.rockauto.com

ACDELCO Part # 41-993 - Price $5.58 each x 6 = $33.48
ACDELCO Part # 746T-Wholesale closeout $35.79(reg 66.79)
ACDELCO Part # D328A - Price $13.89
ACDELCO Part # D465 - Price $4.24

Grand Total 87.40 Shipped to your door for about $10-$12

Your under $100 on parts. Good deal if you can do the work yourself.

Ok a couple things, 1.I took the plugs out to gap them and clean them 1/3 of the way through their suggested life span, I don't waste money if I don't have to, its a 40 minute job. 2. GM does not MAKE AC Delco, but they due OWN it (theres been talk they might not soon). 3. As far as AC Delco not making their own spark plugs, well thats kinda my point, u don't know what you're really getting because they source them out for the purpose of cheap production and hi priced sales.

To be honest this is the FIRST time I have used Champion plugs in any of my 7 vehicles. They run great in the Blazer. I will say this, I had to gap everyone, it was gaped from the ground electrode to the center and not from the Platinum pad on the ground electrode to the center. Took 5 minutes to gap, and they run better than Ac Delco double Ps, and NGK Irridium IXs.

Where in the world are you getting your parts????

Plugs are less than 30 bucks.
Cap and rotor (AC Delco) under 40 bucks.
Plug wires under $60.

No PO0300 Code = Pricelsss!

AS for not wasting money if you dont have too...I agree. But I also dont waste my time cleaning my plugs. Back in the good old days of carboned up plugs and points and condensors I would agree that they could be returned to service. But with computer management and electronic ignition. I sleep just fine at night knowing my truck will still start in the morning with dirty plugs.

My personal opinion.

Was there 7 wires in the set? If it was 7, the last short wire is your coil wire. there should be a spot on the distributor cap labeled coil, with a wire running to your coil. You should change that wire as well.

25 dollars per spark plug??? I just went to both summit and autozone. They dont even sell a spark plug that expensive!

In my personal opinion, if money is tight, I sure wouldnt be looking at summit racing for tune up parts for a blazer. The prices I quoted are from rockauto. If you order early in the day, they are dropping the stuff off the next afternoon.

Marksoftball's number are pretty close. Much closer to $100 than $200.

I dont recall saying anything about $25 for spark plugs, the wires are the most costly thing.

Edit: yea summit wants $111 just for the wires...happy i found this thread becuase that wasnt going to happen LOL

I dont know how many spark plugs your truck has, but mine has 6. $150/6 = 25.
