If you are still looking for this information, the VSS sensor is located at the back of the transfer case in the case of a 4wd vehicle.
There were a lot of problems with the forum software dating back quite a ways that we have now gotten sorted out. Quite a few posts were missed early this year. Sorry for the wait.
