speed sensor location

Default speed sensor location

I have a 2000 s10 2 door 4x4 my speedo just stopped working and i am thinking it is my speed sensor. Where is it located i am assuming it is on the transmission. i am not sure where it is on the tranny and what it looks like thanks.

Default RE: speed sensor location

VSS is located in the output of the transfer case to the rear axle.
