Default spider replacement..HELP

I am changing the spider on my 97 blazer and i am using the forum how to section to perform the change. i am all done with the install but i see the fuel regulator has a nipple on the end. For the life of me i cannot find where this connects to... I would imagine some type of vacuum line.. I will not finish putting the together until i find where this connects to.. Thanks so much

Default

It does not connect to anything. This regulator is of a similar design to an externally mounted regulator in which that nipple would be piped to a manifold vacuum source. Since the regulator is in the intake, it is in the vacuum source.
