Default Sputter

I'm still trying to track down a fuse blowing problem. I've found that from a dead stop if I accelerate quickly fuse #5 blows which throws a obd code for the air mass sensor and camshaft sensor. The engine will sputter and chug the first few times I do this and then eventually the fuse will blow. I've replaced both sensors thinking one of them was causing the fuse to blow but the fuse still blows. I need to fix this problem because I can't risk pulling out into an intersection and the engine dieing on me if I'm accelerating quickly. Thanks.

It most likely only throwing the code for those 2 sensors because its all the obd system is tracking off that fuse. You will have to find out what else is on that fuse and also check all the wires going to stuff it powers.

So based on the fact that this fuse blows under a quick acceleration I would think it points to a problem with the EGR valve, MAF sensor or maybe PCM?? Or would a problem with the new camshaft sensor or new mass air flow sensor be causing the fuse to blow??

EGR valve would not be active under acceleration.

It could be a problem with one sensor or a combination of sensors. Aren't electrical problems "fun"...?

Can I unplug one sensor at a time and see if the engine still sputters?? There isn't anything on fuse #5 that runs the fuel system is there??
