Sputtering problem
Like the title states, my truck has a sputtering problem. When the truck is warmed up (hot), the techometer will flucuate between 1000 rpm and 1500 rpms but only when the accelerator is held steady on 1200 rpm. If I accelerate at all, it doesnt sputter at all, nor does it do it when I coast. Idle is fine. It happens like that occasionally with out the A/C but almost everytime with the A/C on.
I hope thats enough info. Vehicle info is in the sig. Also, recent work: new wires, cap, rotor- basically a general tune up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Sputtering problem
I have the same problem, but worse. When I start it up it idles real rough, but dosent die, shakes very bad. It sputters at all rpms but the problem is interrmitent, once I drive for more then 45 min it goes away. I have changed the spark plugs, plug wires, map sensor, alternator, fuel filter, air filter, I have 97,000 miles and I do regular maintenance. Please help
