stalling

hey everyone, im having a problem, i have the 4.3l engine and here is my problem....ill be driving a long and all of a sudden my truck will go to stall sometimes it wont other times it will...can anyone help?

EGR maybe? That's what mine was when it was stalling like that.

was it the EGR valve?...i would think that it would be an electrical problem, but i could be wrong, but thanx for the idea...ill check it out.

Ya, thats' what was happening with mine. It would idle REALLY rough, then stall. I just got it cleaned and but a $25 gasket on it to keep the crap out of it.

Maybe you just need a good ol' tune up?
