starter nut size?

Default starter nut size?

Off the top of anyones head the nut size one the two starter bolts?
Bad back and it would really help to know.

since no one else took a stab at it. i cant remember if its 13 or 15mm i just did one last week too and cant recall exactly. go under there with a 13 14 and 15 mm as well as a 6inch extension to get through the trans lines and you should be all good

also the big wire should be a 13mm and the small wire will either be a 8 or 10mm so bring those too

Thank's buddy, the two that hold the starter, because they are shouldered bolts the 14 and 15 both work, triger is an 8 and a real bitch I might add. Going to put a plug in line on that. I was real lucky the starter was still the long type but it came down easy with just some gentle twists.

small wire is 8mm

sometimes they come out sometimes they dont. i think its cause they are such a tight fit if your motor mounts are bad or starting to go bad that 1/8th of a inch can make all the difference in the world. did one on a 2wd blazer the other day. that was even easier

You might be right rabbit, the mounts are only four years old replaced when I did a motor transplant.
