hay guys, i have a 97 blazer 4x4.. recently the truck would not start with out dumping gas in the carburetor, but once its started it runs fine..could this be a fuel pump issue?? if the pump was bad wouldn't it run bad all the time?? it gets good spark and i can hear the pump initiate when in the on position. i don't know.

p.s. thanx for the help with diagnosing my transmission problem, got the sun shell changed and it runs great..saved loads of money and learned a few things to, although it took two weeks..
