Smile RE; Air Noise

at highway speeds i am hearing loud air noises on the driver's side window on top. i put my hand by the weatherstripping applying a little pressure and the noise lessens. when i look at the weatherstriipping she looks good and solid.
any suggestions or have you experienced the same.

What year, model etc....? I had a similar issue with my 98. The door hinge pins caused the door to sag slightly. Worn hinge pins and bushings seem to be a common issue.

Most likely cause is failed hinge bushings.

When you close your door, does the door jump up as it latches onto the nader bolt (latch pin in the 'B' post)? Is the top of the nader bolt scored or worn?

My 2001 does the same thing. It needs door bushings as well. My door got to making noise when it shut and I discovered this crack:

Luckily I got a buddy at work to TIG weld it back up for me.
