Starting Problems unless the ignition is whooped!

Technically there are three vacuum lines on the transfer case. One that supplies the vacuum from the engine, one that goes to the 4wd actuator under the battery tray, and a vent.
4wd is pretty tricky, mine is still not working correctly and I am pretty sure I need to change the vacuum line from the transfer case to the actuator.
Do we have twin trucks? Mine is a 95, with 4wd issues, and it also does not crank. I just dropped it off at the shop to figure out the no start issues. I tried to change the ignition switch since it is a common problem, but that didn't do the trick. $70 part may be worth a try.

Just noticed you were looking for a response. I also posted a similar thread last month and commented in there that it wound up being my starter.
New starter and labor was around $240 I believe. I didn't want to be without a vehicle for too long of an extended time so I let my mechanic figure it out.
Sounds completely different now, almost like it could start two V8 engines at once.
Hope you got yours working.
