Default starting questions

Ok. I have a 98 blazer, put in a new spider unit and filter. Before this it wouldnt start without starting fluid. after, below freezingI have to prime it one or two times and then it was fine for the rest of the day. Now that its warm out 50 plus, just turn the key and it fires right up. Confused

Run the fuel pressure / leakdown test.
Marginal pumps use every tenth of a volt they can get.

Holding steady at 59 for1 1/2 hours. Should have done this when it was below freezing. Thinking that being 70 may be heating up the tank and increasing pressure

No.. just eliminates it.. AFTER you run the deadhead test at the filter.

How' your temp gauge look? Is it running at or near 190 in nice weather cruise?

Pump head-pressure test at the filter. I coined the term because it fits the test. The flow is dead-ended and it tests for head pressure at nominal starting voltage {engine not running}.
