I assume that you have done the job by now but in case not I can tell you that it is not fun (I have yet to find a job other than an oil change that IS fun on our's).
Once the bolts and lines are off and the Pittman arm is off the drag link it is a matter of fighting it out of the truck. I ended up with it upside down and rotated sideways before it came out and yes, it spilled fluid all over the place.
The really fun part was getting the Pittman Arm off the box. I clamped it in a vice and got the nut off (not as hard as you might think) but had to heat the PA for a long time with a torch before the puller could move it.
Going back in was just as much fun as coming out.
