Default Steering Shaft

Is it possible to misalign the steering shaft to gear shaft junction? I removed the steering shaft to get at the #3 plug. When I put it back together it seemed as if the steering wheel is slightly off kilter?

im pretty sure you cant. on most vehicles they only go on one way as it has that flat spot on the splines for that bolt to go through and tighten it down
