Default swapping parts?

I picked up a 2000 2 door Ls 4x4 about 6 mounths ago and my son wreaked the front end 2 days ago. Its pretty bad, passager front tire is pushed back into the rear wheel well and of course the whole front is smashed in. I did find a '98 zr2 today that has a good front end and would make a good doner truck if it is possable. My question is will to different years matter in tring to put this back together. Thanks

Whats wrong with the ZR2? I would rather try and fix the ZR2 then the LS. Just my 2 cents.

The ZR2 has different mounting points for the suspension, though some of the parts will swap over.

Thanks for the responces, the zr2 is in bad shape. not much more than sheet metal there. looks like kids ran the thing in to the dirt. Over 200k on it to. Im going to need to change out the A arms on the passanger side so I guess the zr2 won't work for me. Going to keep looking for a donor truck, hard to find a 2000, lots of 96 4 doors

Default 2000 front end parts

I did a search the vendor's list here for suspension parts but none showed up. There used to be a vendor on fleabay that sold new control arms (with bushings and ball joints) for about $120. No removal like a donor car either. If the control arms are really bent up, it will be worth having the frame checked and straightened if needed. Good luck.
