Default tach jumping

HI sure hope some one can help me. I have a 2001 Blazer LS 4x4.
I had the intake manif. gasket replaced last week(was loosing water). Ran fine for 2 days then started missing on acceleration amd the tach started jumping all over and oil pressure dropping. Took it back to the shop, now the timing chain needs replacing was missing on #2 cylinder. They replaced chain all gears and fixed a broken motor mount. It is no longer missing but tach is still jumping and now there is a slight knock in the bottom end. This crap of replacing parts and not getting anywhere is getting real expensive real fast can any ne help? The engin light is coming on but the only thing it is showing is some sensor on the crank which is why the cahinged the timing chain.

Default RE: tach jumping

Sounds like you were taken advantage of. Mostlikely was only a problem with the crank position sensor and they soaked ya for a new timing chain... Sucks...

What is the code that you are getting?

As far as the knock goes... Before the intake manifold gasket replacement, were you getting any coolant in the oil? If so, that is VERY BAD! Check your oil now because if this shop screwed up the intake manifold gaskets, then you could be getting coolant in the oil now.
