Okay so when I pulled into school today I looked down at my gauges and the engine temperature gauge was at The 3/4 mark in between 210 and 260. My buddy said it could be the temperature sensor because I don't see any steam or smoke from the engine, and the heat wasnt as hot as it usually is. Any ideas? Any help is much appreciated.

I know you hope it's the sensor.. the heater output suggests different.
Take off the rad cap when it's cold. Supposed to be no air in the radiator.
Then check your oil and under the truck. Better.. after it's sitting drain a few ounces out the oil pan plug and look.
If your oil level is rising better get it to shop quick.
