My 1997 Blazer has a little problem..
On the dash the temperaturemeter says the engine is about 70degrees Celcius (158Fahrenheit) and when I do a check with a digital thermometer right on the temperature sensor(under the thermostat) it gives me 95degrees Celcius(203Fahrenheit)
This is after 15Km driving so the engine is on normal working temperature and that's good....
Do I have to replace the temperaturesensor on the engine to have a good result on the dashmeter?
Greets from Holland!

Im not sure about this model, but many vehicles have two ECT sensors. One in the head, which sends its signal to the PCM, and another one (which can be put in many different locations) which sends its signal to the gauge in your dash. Due to them being in different locations, this may cause a temperture variance, but 50 degrees is a lot! I could see maybe if it was in the radiator...
