Default Thermal paste?

Is thermal paste the same as dielectric grease? Can i use dielectric grease under an Icm? Thanks.

Dielectric grease is not the same thing as thermal paste, but will work as a temporary measure.

Yeah thats what I thought, i have some of that, but its for CPU's and GPU's.
