Three Button 4WD Question
#2
It leaves the vacuum switch and goes up and over the transfer case, (usually taped together with the vent and source lines). Then it goes up behind the right cylinder head, and forward along the right side of the intake manifold. At the rear of the alternator it heads down toward the actuator. It is inside a black plastic split loom from the rear of the engine to the actuator.

There are 3 vacuum lines at the switch on the transfer case. Each line is attached to a specific port on the switch. One is the vacuum source from the engine. It should have manifold vacuum at all times. The second line Tee's in with the vent on top of the transfer case, and from there it is routed to the top of the transmission dipstick tube, with a filter at the end. This is the vent line for the transfer case and the vacuum actuator. The third line goes to the vacuum actuator to engage the right front axle when 4WD is selected. If you replace the lines one at a time, it's tough to screw 'em up
Skill level, on a 1 to 10 scale, (1 being the easiest) it's probably a 2.
