Timing problems on 4.3 97

I have a 97 blazer and just put a new engine in it and now it will not start. I have taken everything off old running engine to include all sensors and injectors and distributor. Anyone have any ideas? I need help bad on this!!!

was the distributor lined up correctly (for proper timing marks)when re-installed? what was the reason why ya replaced the motor to begin with? If it ran b4, there should of course be no reason why a new motor won`t start , Is the engine brand new or Used? As anyone else is going to say more info will def help us help you,..

I would suspect the distributor to cam timing as well. Run through the steps listed in the link below:
