Default Tire still Rubbing and other problem....

Alright guys last time i posted on my rim thread that after i got my new rims my driver side rim is rubbing into the molding on the drivers side putting cuts and gashes in the tire all away around. So wolfpack told me crank the tbars i did. I cranked them 1/2 a inch and its still rubbing when i go over bumps and stuff. When the trucks sitting still it sits at about 4 inches between my tire and where the molding starts. On the molding where it screws into the fender is where it is rubbing. I already tried flaten it out with a hammer as much as i could but its still rubbing. I did replace all the shocks about 1000 miles ago, could this be a bad shock or bad ball joint or something??

This is also what the lower (i think) ball joint on the drivers side looks like... is this bad? does it need to be replaced?

My other problem is this what is this bracket in the pictures below used for. It's not attached to anything so im wondering why its there and if im missing something?

What size tires did you put on?

About your ball joint, no way to tell from a picture if a ball joint is bad. Well, that is unless the ball joint has broken already... You need to put the truck up on jack stands, then use a 4-6' 2x4 to lift the tire. If you feel/hear play, then the lower ball joint is bad.

That bracket is for a steering stabilizer. I have yet to see a Blazer with a factory steering stabilizer though...

They should not be rubbing unless your rims have a lot less back spacing...

there 15x7 4.5 backspacing like i said its only the driver side and i already cranked the tbars 1/2 a inch its puzzling me haha. I know its still rubbing to because there were new "cut" marks in my tire today when i got to work so....

Maybe crank the driver side t-bar another turn. Does the right side rub when you have a passenger that weighs as much as you do? I have noticed that my front tires rub more when I have passengers.

alrighty so and update i cranked the tbar another .25 making it 3/4 of a inch on each side. That worked made it stop rubbing... but..... i drove about 60 miles today with my tbars and my new level and i got home looked under neath at the passenger side and the cv axle's boot is leaking green lubricant, its sprayed up on the sides of the control arm and on the body and the upper ball joint is starting to leak lubricant as well. I dropped them back down for now but i would like som advice on what to do?? thanks

alright everyone im back onto this thread again for the last month or so i have been letting it go but its still rubbing in the top of the fender and my tire is slowly getting eaten away. Could this be because of a bad shock? heres a pic showing where its rubbing. The rims are 15x7 4.5 inch backspaceing tires are toyo ht 235 75 r15 with only about 12,000 miles on them

do the shocks feel worn out? i know in your first post you said you recently replaced the shocks and i would hate to think they're already bad, but if you only rub going over bumps it ight very well be the shocks.
