Default Torque Pro Custom CMP Retard (Cam Sensor Retard) Formula for Blazer 4.3L V6

Follow these steps in order to add the custom CMP Offset PID in TorquePro for the 4.3L Blazer V6:

1. Settings
2.
Manage Extra PIDs/Sensors
3. Hamburger Button at Top
4. Add Custom PID
5. OBD2 Mode: "221301"
6. Long Name: "Cam Retard Offset"
7. Short Name: "CMP Offset"
8. Minimum Value: "-100"
9. Maximum Value: "100"
10. Scale Factor: x1
11. Unit Type: "Degrees"
12. Equation: " ((signed(A)*256+b)*0.024) "
13. OBD Header: "6C10F1"
14. Does not override any PID

After you've added the PID you can add it to Realtime Information or graph CMP Retard data. Specification is 0 +/- 2 degrees.

Thanks! I previously verified StormBlazerJon's formula using my 2001 Blazer and Torque Pro vs Car Diagnostic Pro STD PID and Dash Command and Vident I-link 400 hand held. Note that this formula works for V6. 0.063 in the formula might be for the V8, but this has not been verified.
