Default TPS Value Limits

I'm trying to diagnose a slight high-idle issue on my 2001. It idles Between 750-900 RPM depending on whether the A/C compressor is engaged. I tested the TPS and got 0.62 to 4.40 or so. It's smooth with no spikes or dips. Is that out of allowable spec?

If so, are these sensors adjustable or fixed? Thanks.

Sounds right. The TPS doesn't have anything to do with idle speed though. That is controlled by the PCM via the IAC valve (idle air control).

Is that idle speed with the engine fully warmed up?

Yes, fully warmed up. This started right after doing the MPFI spider upgrade and LIM gaskets

Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak somewhere causing the high idle. If you had a full feature scan tool, you could look at the IAC valve counts to determine if it is moving from cold idle to hot idle (it should move in). If it is already bottomed out when cold, it can cause a high idle when hot.

I've checked for leaks by spraying TB cleaner. I also blocked off the Evap lines to no avail.

As far as a scan tool, what would you recommend for live data? I can't exactly swing a tech II
