Subject says it all. I replaced the vac lines from the ball to the t-case, and from the case to the front pumpkin actuator. 4X4 works great (good thing, got an ice storm comin') Well there's a tranny leak, and i noticed while i was down there that the vent line from the vac switch goes nowhere and a bit of tranny blood dripped out, Now does that line go somewhere? if so....where? Is it easy to get to from underneath?? I did search but couldnt find anything. Thanks in advance.

Interesting terminology
It sounds like your vacuum switch may be drawing up some t/case oil. You could replace the switch, it's only about $15 but it's a bit of a knucklebuster.

sounds like a plan, but should the "vent" line go somewhere? Like into the back of the transmission? Currently it comes out of the vac switch, over the t-case, into a 3way, then from the three way forward to the transmission but is broken, hanging, and dripping

I replied to your email, then I see oyu started a thread.
Read this link. It covers the routing of the three vacuum hoses in question.
https://blazerforum.com/m_52228/tm.htm
The short version.
Vacuum comes from back of intake manifold.
Goes into a tee by distrtibutor.
One hose runs down to t-case (1 of 3 in question).
Other end of tee runs to HVAC and black ball.
2nd of 3 is a vent line and it connects to teh t-case in two places, has a tee in it, one side goes to backside of t-case, other end goes into three way connector. It ends in teh engine bay, OBS by battery, NBS by distributor, has a filter/vent foam thing on the end.
The other hose in the three way connector goes up to the vacuum actuator that controls the front axle engagement.
The three way connector attaches to the t-case vacuum switch. If this switch fails t-case fluid can flow into the hoses. Or if the t-case input seal fails the tranny fluid will overfill the t-case and it has to go somewher, into the vent lines. Sometimes via the vacuum switch, or it could be via the vent hose on the back of the t-case.
One other thing.
There is a vent hose on the tranny. Its on top and about 4" long. You cannot see if unless you feel for it. You cannot see it unless the tranny has been lowered. Like everything, there is an excelption. On my '00 GM added a short piece of rubber hose about 6"-10" long, "vacuum hose" and it hangs down the side of the tranny. If this is leakion your tranny is overfull, or you have overheated teh tranny. Overfull is no big deal and it will puke fluid until the level is correct. Overheated is another issue and rebuild is the solution.
Verify your tranny is full. Drive for 20 minutes, park on level ground and leave the engine running. Takes 1/4 quart to go from bottom to top of cross hatch on dipstick.
If you adding fluid and cannot see where its leaking from it could be going into the t-case, and then into your vent/vacuum hose.
Post up any more questions. That should get you goig in the right direction. Also post up the solution.
