I've installed a 4-channel dash cam in my '99 Blazer LT, and hardwired it. Now I need to install the rear camera, connect one of the wires to the backup light circuit, and route the remaining cable to the front on the RH side interior. I've done this before on my other current and former cars, but not on an SUV body style.
What I need is someone with experience removing that huge interior plastic trim piece that covers the entire RH side of the cargo area (item "B" in the picture) to enlighten me on the correct procedure. I have a full set of steel and plastic trim tools, I just need to know where to start prying on that one piece, and in what direction.
The forum software suggested a few (much) older threads, one of which was on this subject. So I've combined the instructions that were posted there along with the illustrations into an html, attached below. It shows all the fasteners to be a straight and level pull out of the punched holes in the sheet metal.
