Default Truck is skipping/running rough

I have a 2000 Blazer with 65,000miles i just had the plugs and wires replaced and it ran fine for the first day but now it has started skipping and running rough when it wants to, the check engine light stays on and when it starts to skip the light starts to flash, anybody know how to solve this problem?

You need to go to the auto store and have them pull the codes and let us know what they are. They should do this for free. If you have an Auto Zone they can give you a print out of the codes which gives possible causes.

If you went as far as ATTEMPTING THE IMPOSSIBLE (changing plugs on a Blazer is a ), why not complete the job and change out the cap and rotor? You obviously changed the plugs for a reason? Maybe that wasn't your problem to begin with? And, I hope you used AC-Delco parts! Check this forum, and see what happens when you cheap out and use generics on a 4.3L!!!

Oh, and BTW, I did the tune-up on my 2002 at 62k, and my rotor was melted, and turned this blue and black color. It can happen to yooouuu!

i didnt change the cap b/c the person who changed it out for me said my cap looked perfectally fine so i returned the cap i bought...I will have to stop by Auto Zone to get them to run the codes, another guy told me to start running premium gas in it but i dont think that would make a difference

If the cap was carefully inspected ok. But there can be very fine hairline cracks that are hard to see. Premium gas will just drain your wallet and not solve your problem.
