Hey guys, I just bought a 2000 Chevy Blazer about one month ago and I love it. Unfortunately today as I was going to the store the trunk isn't popping open when I hit the Aux button on the remote pad. I didn't put in this alarm system, it was with the truck from the guy I bought it from. Also my key doesn't seem to work in the trunk to get it open. The remote still works to unlock and lock the doors but not for the trunk. Is there a different key I should have for the trunk? Also is there a manual way to open the trunk from the inside? I'm lost here, any help would be more than welcome. Thank u everyone

 

just push the unlock button in your truck, which should unlock your back door, then just pull you black lever on your trunk, are saying trunk or hatch.

 

The hatch I meant... the rear hatch button doesn't seem to do anything either and the trunk wont open unless the hatch is popped up

 

there is a button next to the radio that will open the hatch too. if that doesnt work the actuators do fail from time to time in these vehicles

 

Must be because the rear hatch button next to the radio is doing nothing at all

 

sounds like the actuator
