Who's got information on the easiest way for plugs and wires on my 96 LT. 4.3 vortec 4x4, ive seen some videos and talked to some people and sounds like theyr're a pain. Also what kind of plugs/wire combinations are people having the best luck with, same with caps and rotars.

AC Delco, AC Delco & AC Delco for all the ignition parts & for the fuel pump if/when you have to replace it. AC Delco or Delphi.
Search around in here for tips for the DS plug that's a pita.

11mm bolt holds streering column to gear box...remove for wheel well access to #4 plug.

Definitely a major pita, but not the worst thing you'll ever have to work on with your blazer!
Good luck bud!

I've read in here people grind down a socket to get behind the column & use a wrench on it instead of a ratchet. Search it out

Oh yeah AC Delco all the way or you'll possibly be waisting money & time & having to do it all over again. lol

Thanks guys. Rotti just did the fuel pump last weekend. I've heard and seen horror stories about those last two plugs. And how you have to go through the fenders and tried to stay away from it but its about time

Yeah take the tire off & get in there. I love having a 3" BL.. I get the plugs with no issues other than a U-joint on the extension.
Search in here for #3 plug I think it is... you'll find answers!
Change up the search words etc.

I've done this a couple times, Pull drivers side front tire to get to center plug on drivers side. It's no big deal, not hard. Take it out with a deep well socket (go through wheel well).
The steering column will move enough to get the plug out, there's more movement there then you might think. You won't hurt anything by pushing and pulling! (don't take column apart!).
I used a socket and swivel (be careful and take your time), It will come out!

Lol that driver side spark plug is not a pita to access.
You need the perfect length extension, and you have to just have common sense and try different hand/arm positions; i never took my wheels off and i changed my plugs and wires in 2 hours.

I did not take my DS wheel off either, was a huge pain, but got it done.
