Sorry for the huge pictures, not sure how to make them smaller.

In the picture you can kind of see that the intake has gold patches in it, and it should all be solid black which leads me to believe your injectors or the FPR is leaking in there.

Like captain said, you don't know if its the injectors or the FPR until you open it up. But the pics show its leaking, if it were me and I had the extra loot, now would be a good time to do the MFI swap.

So where exactly are the injectors and fpr? I am far less familiar with fuel injected systems then carb'd. I can't seem to see them when I go out there.

They are in the upper intake manifold or "plenum". There should be a write up here somewhere on how to replace them. Or. Let me know and I can post the GM book method for swapping to the MFI setup.

You can almost see one of them when you open the butterfly.

Here is what they look like. the top part of the assembly is sticking out of the intake manifold and is plugged into a big connector

Jeez lol is the FPR incorporated into that monstrosity to?
I can't seem to find the write up, if anyone know has it book marked or something a link would be fantastic, if I have to remove the intake and all of the top end components to change these things Im starting to think its time to call in someone that knows more about this then me before I screw something up hahaha

Its really easy to do if you can turn a wrench. First time i did it, it took me about an hour but the second time i did it, it only took about half an hour.

I've decided to just do it, probably going to do the mfi swap, there seems to be no reason not to? And I believe it comes with a new FPR also so hopefully that will solve my problems.

Now, as to what I should buy, is there a common place everyone buys the spiders from?
Just got a price of like 500 bucks from a local store, lol. And I think that would be for stock replacement stuff not MFI.

I've got a 2000 zr2 4.3, want to make sure I order the right thing, as what I was looking at online
Amazon Amazon
says no returns lol. Also is
Amazon Amazon
the right gasket set?

And does the injector kit come with everything? FPR is mostly what I mean? I assume it is incorporated into the spider but honestly I am not sure.

The Delphi FJ10565 is the upgraded injector assembly which does include a new fuel pressure regulator. It also comes with the necessary bracket to mount the new assembly. You will need the gasket set, other than that, it's plug & play.
