Do you mean this bracket? It suggests that it might need it but I thought when I looked it said I didn't for my year truck.

Yes, that's the bracket, and it comes with the Delphi assembly. When installed, the injector housing must freely move forward and rearward about 1/4". Make sure you oil the O ring in the plenum where the housing fits through before you install the plenum. If you don't, the O ring can roll out of position and create a pretty serious vacuum leak.

As for price i think rockauto.com had them for just a little cheaper than amazon, Just type in the part number so you dont have to dig through and find it.

Thanks guys, going to order the stuff tonight when I get home. Have to prep the yard for this hurricane we may or may not be getting in NYC too lol.

Hopefully I will get it, everything will go smoothly and you won't hear from me anymore on this subject...but I doubt it
