do your keys have a little chip in them? It almost sounds like a security problem (passkey). Have you had the codes read? If not, you should find someone that has a scanner to see what the check engine light means. I'm betting that it has to do with the passkey system.

 

NO THEY DONT I REMEMBER ONE TIME MY STEERING COLUMN COVER WAS OFF AND MY KEYS HIT A BOX BELOW THE LOCK
CYLINDER AND AFTER THAT THE PROBLEM STARTED
