under hood bulb

i have a '96 blazer 4wd 4.3l and cannot read the engine compartment bulb which burned out. Any ideas? It looks like a 1156 but not sure. thanks for all replies.

It likely is an 1156 bulb, but just take it with you to the parts store and you should be able to match it up properly.
