Default Urgent help need -2003 4.3L

Recently changed 4 of 6 plugs. Waiting for help on the two famous plugs for being a pain. Also changed all of the wires since one of the wires came apart into two pieces as soon as I touched it. Was hanging together by a thread.

Was running much much better. I also added a bottle of Lucas fuel treatment. That was all done about 150 miles ago. Today after driving about 40 miles I came to a stop light. Upon giving gas, the car jerked about one foot, stopped, jerked again about a foot and so on. I was able to make it thru the intersection onto the breakdown lane, The car idled fine, but started jerking again. I continued thru the next light and all of the sudden things smoothed out and ran fine. I stoped at the store and it started up fine with no problems. After letting it sit for about two hours I went out again.

Started fine and ran good for about four miles then started up again, with the jerking.

What are your thoughts? Could it be a bunch of gunk that was broken down by using the Lucas? Could it be a fuel filter problem..? Could it be because I still need to replace two plugs?

Any information would be greatly appreciate. I just bought this about two months ago and I am not a mechanic, and really can't afford one with other things going on the moment.

Many thanks in advance.....

deffinately replace your two plugs... maintenance is best kept complete... look for the obvious.. fuel filter under the drivers side... change it... have your injectors blown out, im changing mine tomorrow. i hear the injectors in these trucks are designed flawed so im updating it with the delphi model. that and how are the motor mounts... those are deff a repair for a shop...

Yeah I had similar problems with my jimmy, they had a design flaw that allows moisture into the distributer and doesn't allow good contact of the rotor and cap, try that it may be what it is.
