Hi,everyone I have a 98 chevy blazer 2 wheel drive and I am having trouble trying to figure out where a vaccum line is going,it's on the driver side under the hood it goes into driver side fender and I have no idea how to find out where else it is going and I need to replace it,Does anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate it,thanks.

Granted, I about to reference a 4WD Blazer, but I figure its the same. On the 4WD's the vacuum hose that goes into the fender well goes into a vacuum canister located int he fender that helps keep vacuums even for this like your HVAC. In my case when that hose popped off, the HVAC acted up and the 4WD wouldn't work either because the vacuum was all messed up.
Hopefully that will steer you in the right direction somewhat.

had one in the shop today with very slow mode changes on the heater, vent, floor operation of the heater...After diagnosing it there was a hose off in the exact area you speak of...feel around, you can tell by exactly how long the hose is where about it will reach to. You should feel a plastic nipple sticking slightly out behind a bracket in that left fender-use light, you'll find it then push it back on and you should restore proper operation of the items that were affected..Jerry

its BARELY sticking out, i justhooked mine back up(had it plugged for a few month) it's just under the abs bracket bolt towards the rear of the abs unit. goes into the fender, feel around, it's there. mines a 2001 so might be a little different...
was interesting pushing it back on

I had some work done to my 2000 blazer and now I don't have heat, the picture shows where the vacuum hose is not attached, where do I look to find the hose to attach to it?
