Default vacuum solenoid/actuator

First let me thank swartlkk for his help with EGR valve. I have a 1996 Blazer 4.3 vortec vin w 4 wheel drive and plan on restoring the vehicle. Its been awhile and his help i greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Anyway, I was tinkering around the Blazer today and thought that I would post some pictures of the vacumm soleniod and actuator just in case someone needs help and wants to know what they look like.

I believe that this is the vacuum solenod

It is located between the battery and the anti freeze reservoir.

And here is the actuator.

It is located under the battery tray.

Hope this helps someone as I have been help.

Thanks again swartlkk

I don't know why the thumbnail came out vertical.

Glad to help! I believe you are talking about the NV236 transfer case.

I am not sure what that first picture is of, but it does not appear to be the vacuum solenoid for the front axle engagement. This solenoid should be about dead center on the firewall. It will have a vacuum hose and an electrical connection. It looks almost like a relay.
