Very Simple Question on Coolant Reservoir

Default Very Simple Question on Coolant Reservoir

Hi, I drive a 97 Blazer. I noticed there is a hose coming out of the coolant reservoir towards the top of it. It is not connected to anything. Is this hose supposed to be connected to something?
