Default Vibrations and shaking when in reverse

Hello, I have this problem when ever I put my truck in reverse. I put it in reverse and when I give it gas the truck shakes and vibrates, it feels like the back tires are bouncing. Someone told me it could be something bad in my rear end and another told me it was my transmission. So if anyone here knows what this could be or has any info it could help alot, thanks. Its a 1995 jimmy 4x4.

I had this before on my 2004. To confirm, after switching to reverse, and not moving, you do not notice any problems, only while moving, right? Anything if you set parking brake, then press gas lightly? If you get any bad behavior before moving, I would say very good changes of the trans. Have you tried to life the rear wheels off the ground to see how it handles without any resistance?

Your post is relatively new, did you get your shuttering in reverse situation figured out?
