Default Visor Broken Lights Causing other Problems

I have a 2001 Blazer LT. The lights on my sunvisor burned out because the cover broke off. When I tried removing the bulbs to replace them, they broke. This caused my three overhead lights to also go off. I have tried unplugging the lighting unit in the visor, replacing the bulbs in the visor lighting unit, and replacing the fuse, but the none of these corrected the problem. Any suggestions?

This is why I didn't pull the lights out because they are damn near impossible to get out. I almost went with just crushing them, glad I didn't. Two have burnt out and I'll just wait for the other two to do the same.

As to helping you, have you checked to see if the other bulbs did blow when you did this? Seems odd that all three would go at the same time without blowing the fuse but you said you already replaced the fuse. Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

Default Thanks!

I will try to replace the other bulbs. The map bulbs were almost impossible to get out too! Ridiculous...I'll let you know if this works.

my visors are somewhat broken, the lights stay on constant because the flap that covers the mirrors is broken, so im just unplugging them and leaving them like that.
i did see a new mirror assembly on ebay.
