Default Voltage gauge question

I have a 2000 blazer and usually on my other cars the voltage gauge reads around 14 or maybe a little over. But it runs at around 12 b the way it looks. I was just wondering is that normal or is that a little low

That's low IF its even reading right. My 90 is the same way and its been like that for years best bet is to check the output of the alternator with a different guage

stick a digital volt meter on the battery when it is running. If it reads good then dont worry. If it doesnt, check for bad connections or an altenator going bad.
