Lower intake manifold gaskets...does your passenger rear quarter panel have an oily splatter from the exhaust? Does the rear brake caliper look like it's got a leak? Those would be signs of coolant getting into combustion chamber.

Oil if fine no water in it. As far as I can tell I have the usual amount coming out of the tail pipes until it warms up...Will check the rear brake caliper.

Took me awhile to check, I'm old and slow and for some reason when I lay down on the ground I get dizzy and sick to my stomach. But I check for water by the brake caliper and oil spatter by the rear quarter panel. Nothing all good. Maybe its because I live in the desert but then again my other vechs don't have the problem. I just put in maybe a pint today. But take into consideration that I hardly drive the blazer any more (Maybe 1K a yr and thats maybe and thats in a yr, my tires look almost brand new until you take them off and look at the inside and see all the cracks from the desert air) I have maybe 20-30 thousand on them. But been on the blazer for about 6 yrs now. I don't know I'm thinking of getting rid of it, I put all this money into it and it sits and maybe I drive to the store once in awhile. I have a 2011 Nox that I brought new in 2011 and only have 7,900 miles on it in 2 yrs. Just don't go out all that much anymore...Thanks all for the help.

Leaky lower intake manifold gaskets is a very common problem on this engine. They like to leak in all 4 corners of the manifold. Under the A/C compressor is a fun one to locate. You have to stand on your right foot, close your left eye, tip your head sideways, hold your tongue just right, use a small mirror on a stick and a flashlight to see the leak. Either that or unbolt the compressor In the early stages of failure, leaks can be very difficult to pinpoint, using UV dye helps. Rest assured if your gaskets are original, and they're not leaking, (rare) they will shortly Felpro part #MS98002T gasket set will not leak if installed correctly.

Just my 2 cents, you said WATER? Water boils and evaporate, you should use coolant.

I noticed that too. You should never just run water in your cooling system. Water alone will corrode your system and provides no lubrication for moving parts like the water pump. Water and antifreeze 50/50 for most climates but I use a 40/60 mix here because it gets pretty darn cold some nights.

Have you noticed if your front passenger side floor is wet/damp or if the carpet is discolored? The heater core is another possibility and it might not get noticed during the summer in a dry desert heat.

best ratio is 70/30, gives best freeze and boilover values
"Maximum Protection 70/30
-82ºF Freeze
276ºF Boil"

this is from the prestone website....
