Default Water rushing sound behind dash

So almost every time i take off from a stop i can hear the water rushing through the core. The core in about a year old, it doesnt leak, no coolant loss, no odor, no steam, and no overheating. I have tried burping the system by getting the front right side higher then the rest of the car, but still does this. So is this still air in the system i am hearing? or something else?

usually a sign of low coolant in the core. If the level is fine,id disconnect a hose at the core and pour some water in it until it overfills then reconnect it. See if that might take care of it. I know that it cycles through, but maybe it'll help purge any air in the system

Man my blazer does the same thing! The core was replaced in 2004 and have no problems like you, but I hear the water rushing around too all the time.

There's probably a small air bubble in there. Mine too more than likely but honestly it's not enough to overheat the engine so it doesn't bother me lol.

As for the wife tell her to turn up the radio

i have had this battle for years...have won only one time.
i drove passenger front over curb to lift it, then ran it to operating temp and fill as you go...you should see some bubbles come out...and you will lose coolant so have some extra...i consider this problem my nemisis...i had it fixed then did intake and battled it then hose went so i am at it again...i HATE IT!!

I hate to point out the obvious but the hot water in is supposed to go bottom of core and exit out the top.

If -somehow- the heater hoses are reversed, it will be a never ending battle.
