Default Weird on again off again leak

Frustrating never ending repairs on my 2002 Blazer. Recently repaired a leaking passenger side valve cover leak. No more spots on driveway. This morning I saw a spot about 4 inch diameter on driveway, hoping it was not the same leak again, i ran my finger on it and it appeared to be a clear somewhat oily liquid with not particular oder. Its on the passenger side. I looked under and saw that a bit of the "clear" liquid was on the bottom of the starter and some on along the side where the engine and transmission meet. It was more like a shiny clear film. Didn't smell like motor or tranny oil. Also, it is not a constant drip. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That's interesting... There really are no clear liquids in the engine aside from brake fluid (when new) which is on the driver side and has a distinct odor, and power steering fluid (also when new) which is also on the driver side... The A/C system lubricant is PAG oil which is clear, but a small puddle would constitute pretty much all of the lubricant in the system... The filter/dryer for the A/C is on the passenger side.

Hey- Look at your timing cover & water pump-could be a combination of both!
Just a thought...Let us know!
