Weird tranny leak showed up this morning.

Default Weird tranny leak showed up this morning.

So I have had my Jimmy for 2 days now and I see a leak but dont know how to go about fixing it.
car is a 95 Jimmy 4X4 auto

Looks like it is coming from the transfer case. You really need to get it cleaned up and determine where exactly it is coming from.

ok can i just use any old cleaning product to clean it? or just wipe it off and see where its coming from

I would use a good degreaser.

You can also get some UV dye to put into the transfer case and/or transmission to see where it's coming from. I would start with one and drive it for a week or two and then look under the truck with a UV light and a mechanics mirror to see if you can locate the source.

Don't forget to clean the trans extension housing(above crossmember on the left of your 4th picture) where it bolts to the transfer case. It could be leaking there and slowly finding it's way to the lowest point.
