Thanks, if you think of anything else to try please let me know.....

Just a thought to consider, about a month ago the truck completly shut off while driving. What caused the problem was a bad ignition coil wire. I had that replaces and soon after, this issue arrose....Would this leadyou to believe an area assosicated with that?

Check with you local AutoZone or parts stores sometimes they will scan the codes for free or smaller fee than the dealer....
Also if you do find out it is the spider make sure that they replace the old poppet valve style with the new style that has the injectors at the end of the fuel lines...to see what it looks like go to www.acdelco.com and search for part# 217-3028 it will also tell you who in your area can purchase this if the dealer price is to high...with only 46K miles it should still be under warranty...call the service dept of the dealer to find out.

Check the EGR valve on the front of the intake to see if carbon is keeping the pintle open....since this is happening after 5 mins or more then it has to be in the closed loop operation of the vehicle does it do it when completely cold????
When the issue first started yes it ran alot better when it was cold. Now its about 50/50.

Right now there isnt any codes being thrown. The only code ever thrown was the PO128.

It is the big pop can looking thing with the wires coming out of it next to the thermostat housing just under the TB... if there is excessive carbon then i would suggest you get a gun cleaning kit with flexible wire bore brush (12 guage shotgun) and run it down the passage to the manifold and then the smaller size (9mm)?? for the passage to the intake side. The cleaning solution might also work to loosen the carbon but i would get some spray carbon cleaner...

I had a problem with my TPS (throttle postition sensor). When I would drive on the interstate at around 65mph for over 20 min the next time I accelerated from a stop light the truck would shift very hard. It shifted hard enough the tires would chirp. The tach was also a little off. The part only cost $30 at a part store and I changed it in 1/2 hour, and I am not a mechanic by any means. Hope this helps.

FIXED....turned out to be a clogged cat.
Not he typical sign, but hey its fixed. Figured it out when i noticed the truck was leaning out real bad when it was doing the surging.
Next time this comes up, this will be something to remember.
Thanks for all the help.
