yeah....ima go home, try to dry it out....maybe some wd40? and get the batt tested...i hope that works

i agree seen this alot. also had someone saying that as log as it is dry out car runs fine but when rain comes it starts to miss and eventually die. but it would start and run fine once dried out. that issue ended up being coolant somehow gettinng into the distributor cap. thats why it only showed up when it was wet out. try the cap see what happens

OK GUYS! I put in a new battery, new cap and rotor...Shes running like new....I hope it stays that way! woohoo!

Thanks! when she started up I ran in the house screaming it worked!!!! LOL my husband thinks im nuts.

glad it was a simple ish fix for you and u didn't have to hunt down some electrical ghosts lol.

I know! I need to do alot more work on her but at least shes running and has not had any sputtering since last week!!! woohoo!
