What means L35?
Hi all,
I am looking for a fuel pump for my 98 LS Blazer, I have found 2 so far, with different vendor codes (M85 and M112, both are ACDelco) and the only difference I see in descriptions is the L35:
1998 CHEVROLET BLAZER V6 4.3L 262cid GAS FI N Engine VIN = W Vendor code: M112
1998 CHEVROLET BLAZER V6 L35 4.3L 262cid GAS FI N Engine VIN = W Vendor code: M85
Sorry I am a beginner on this but, what does it mean L35 ???
PD: My truck has W in the 8th digit of the VIN (I guess both fuel pumps will work... right ? )

Thanks a lot!! I'll check out this. I am afraid that I'm bidding on ebay for a fuel pump and just noticed this little difference, I don't want to get an incorrect pump.
In case I don't have this sticker... is there any other way to know what engine I have?

They do.
To the OP, you have some incomplete information on those two pump options.
ACDELCO Part # MU85 {#25176789}
MODULE,F/TNK F/PMP(SENDER & PUMP) 4 DOOR; w/18 GAL TK(NE2); INCLS SEAL; w/o LOW LUBRICITY FUEL SYS SENDER(K55)
ACDELCO Part # MU112 {#25178731}
MODULE,F/TNK F/PMP(SENDER & PUMP) 4 DOOR; CODE SFG, SFU; w/o LOW LUBRICITY FUEL SYS SENDER(K55) or 18 GAL TK(NE2)
The MU112 has an application range of 97-98. It looks as though sometime in 98, the MU85 pump replaced the MU112. With the high likelihood of wiring changes, you really should first look at your pump to determine if it has the broadcast code of SFG or SFU on it which would identify it as being the later MU112 pump.
