I have 4x4 Blazer, 2000 year. I should change inner tie rod end (driver side). I would like to buy AC Delco (is it good choice?) but do not know what part number is good for my car. I found two AC Delco inner tie rod end parts:
45A0679 with description Left hand
45A0222 11/16" Right Hand
.
What should I buy? What does it mean "right hand", "left hand" - is it left (driver) or right side of car?

Yup, you should be good to go.

Sitting in the vehicle, left = driver side / right = passenger side.

I was wrong. When you check AC Delco site you can find required quantity as 2 of left hand or two of right hand. I think this tie rod end signed as 11/16" ( 45A0222 11/16" Right Hand ) is for Blazer 2 WD and this 45A0679 Left Hand is for 4WD. But what does it mean these left or right hand? Maybe it is for different thread direction?

Thanks but I have this catalogue. The problem is I have no possibility to check my tie rods - I only have message from my mechanics "you should replace inner tie rod end driver side". My mechanics does not know Blazer because Blazers still are rather rare cars here in Poland.

I think I'm sensing a bit of a language barrier here...
The left sideinner and the outer tie rod ends are threaded opposite of the right side inner and outer ends, but it's not important to know which direction the threads are cut. When the catalog says "left inner tie rod" it means the part is for the left (or drivers) side of the truck, not which direction the threads are cut.

 

For most car I know you are absolutely right - left is left, right is right. But if you check for example LMC truck catalog you have the same part number for left and right side -strange but check it. The problem is they have catalogs only for 1-st generation S10 Blazers and I am not sure how it is for the 2-nd generation. If you check ACDelco you can find that they have no outer tie rod end "right hand", only left - strange but I am sure they have tie rod ends for right side too.. But I think we should not guess I hope here is somebody who knows.

Maybe you should just change both of them if you can afford it. You'll probably just be getting another message from your mechanic that the passenger side one has gone bad before too long anyway.
