Yeah I dunno if you could see from the pics but where the boot goes from the wire they were completely black, I don't believe that is a good sign, I wiped them with a finger and it took a few trys and then u could see silver again underneath all the charing, and then the electrode end was majorly chared and it had a grey spot on the top of the electrode and then all brown by the porcelin base where the spark jumps across.
Still can't believe it but I am pretty positive the plugs that I pulled out are the original plugs put in at the factory and havent been changed out in the trucks 198,000 mile life time

The carbon build up past the threads towards the boot would mean that the plug was not properly seated. This would cause a major loss in compression in that cylinder. I can see how your engine would be better running after changing plugs, or rather torquing the plugs to specs.
