As i mentioned in another thread i've been put in charge of maintaining and working on my gf's blazer, door stickers say its a 95, its registered as a 95, but i was under the impression that the 95's were still "s-10" blazers, theres no s-10 anywhere on the thing, i've seen pics of 97 blazers and thats what it looks like?

 

The 'S-10' prefix had been dropped by '95.

 

In 1995 the "S" and "T" series name was dropped and became 2nd generation blazer and is referred to as "Blazer".

The full size "K5 Blazer" became the "Tahoe"

 

That being said my 95 still says s-10 on the ownership. But definately not anywhere on the truck.

 

As discussed in other threads and stated above, the s10 moniker was removed in 95. Many places, including the DMV stayed with the s10 name well beyond that.
